The National Institute For The Uniform Licensing Of Power Engineers (NIULPE) was conceived in 1972 as an organization which promotes and formalizes measures designed to advance safety in all matters related to the management of energy. It was incorporated as a not-for profit organization, third-party certification organization that acts on an international level to establish standards for the education, safety and assessment of the power engineering and related industry. NIULPE provides services and support to the United States and its protectorates, states, cities and municipalities. NIULPE also provides services to support corporations and educators.
